turbo, margarita, nassarius & cerith snails are a good combo. Add a half dozen to a dozen of each. Tigertail & black knobby cucumbers are great, add serpent stars once you have a few fish.
what is your stocking /wish list for this tank? what types of corals?

sounds about right but serpant and green brittle stars can hunt fish when they get big, something to consider if you get expensive fish.

You should see the"death star" my friend Scott has, now he's a killer. Green monster easily 15" across. I've had good luck with some of the smaller, less homicidal varieties, although for sheer entertainment value alone, that Death Star is hard to beat.

    Welcome to 3reef!
Watch out for turbos as they are large and clumsy. They work good but knock over everything in your tank that is not attached. Margaretta, and nassarius is what I have in my tank, I dropped 100 of each in mine. As for the cucumber...IMO your tank is not mature enough to keep it alive for very long, I would wait on that one.
Once you start adding fish I would only add 1 every 2 weeks to allow the bacteria in the tank to stabilize before adding more. With a tank that new (4 wk) I would watch getting in a hurry, you will pay for it down the road.
You will most likely see the tank get foggy a day or two after you add the first fish. Just a bacterial bloom and the tank trying to stabilize so don't worry, just dont get ahead of yourself and add a bunch of fish.
Before you add coral you need to find out what the other parameters in your tank is at, you forgot the 3 important ones. (Ca, Mg, ALK) Before you go adding corals I would find out what these are first, your water may not be stable enough to sustaine corals right now.
Take it slow my friend, this is not a race.

Good luck with it..But a just 4 weeks I'd test the waters with a few additions and not dump is a huge load.

Not to worry. Is normal. We have all been there. The diatoms go away pretty quick, esp with a few snails and hermits.

Thank you all for the help and replies. I promise to take it slow and why I asked the experts:) I have been reading and learning... I do not have a stock list other than 2 clowns so suggestions are welcomed:) I would like some coral and frags later... I do not have a mg test kit yet but my ca is 500 and my akl is 9dkh or 161.1 being new and not reading first:-( I used well water "but" I am using RO from now on!!!

Should I do a water change prior to adding a cleaning crew? also with the diatoms is long brown hair algie on the LS. should I leave that for the crew?

Red footed turbos are excellent for removal of diatoms! Having said this though, diatoms and cyanobacteria are the two most prevalent forms of nuisances to rear their ugly heads, typically with a new tank set up, but will quickly disappear as fast as they appeared. So becareful not to add too many inverts to alleviate this problem as you run the risk of starvation of your inverts, especially with a new set-up!
p.s. I heard that Margarita snails don't make a welcome addition to a reef tank! Per Scott W. Michael and Julian Sprung etal, I believe is where I read that info. They are from temperate water climates and the warm water temps associated with our tanks are not to their liking or success.

I wouldn't do a water change just yet as your tank is probably still cycling somewhat and doing a water change will just stall that cycle. As for the long hair algae, pick off the really long stuff and let the clean up crew crop down what you can't pick off by hand.
