LOL yes Monday night as a matter of fact, We have a little Nano 12 JBL its been up for 1.5 yrs never been anything in it but a mantis shrimp and a little clown. I had two clowns that where killing my elegance and a Gigias clam . I got the large Female out and tossed her into the Nano Monday afternoon then my wife used some ammonia on the floor then a few hrs later she topped it off went to bed , I went for some Tea about 11:00 PM and noticed the tank was pure white I asked her if she had added anything ? Just water , The old Clown was dead the little clown was dead and the few hermits left where all dead . I simple did as i posted and the Purple Monti digita is fine and the next day it was sparkling clear. A water change would have just sent it way over the line into a total tailspin. Bacteria work on there schedule . You can set them to a clock almost . The new larger fish and the ammonia and water all where just to much . Air stone did the job.

I am sorry for your loss. I am in Colorado right now and hoping my tank is doing well. My husband who doesn't know tanks is at home taking care of it with daily updates. How sad is it I will leave my cats and FW tanks with no problems but when the whole family leaves I get a housesitter for the SW.

Karma to you CrabbyJim and I hope you get it up and running again! Keep us updated.
