I don't shop, he makes me go get clothes and shoes. I do smoke cigs and they went up(he doesn't know about that yet):-/


there are things, far worse than a tank.

 

That is the real waste of money! At least when you spend money on the tank there is something to show for it! Don't get me wrong, I'm not preaching by any means. I have been fighting the darned nicotene bug for years. I quit smoking but now chew which is just as expensive. Better smelling but still expensive;D!

Can you move the tank to a different room where flooding wouldn't be as much of an issue?

 

See you show hubby this and he would be out of his mind to think this is a good deal, then he would be like "wow, this stuff really needs to stay"

 

I totally agree, though I RARELY spent money on my tank. so it's not so much about the money. kind of a small part of it

Thanks Stepho, yeah we were actually talking about moving it back to the laundry room before I caved. We're still going to fix the return that I broke and when we do, I might be able to convince him that it won't leak. I'll have to show him.

Hey Cuttinggrass its nobodys business but yours, but like all things in life sometimes an outside perspective can help identify solutions that often escape the people with the probems - maybe you need to phone a friend and get some good outside opinions, you must have many good freinds as your personality on this site leads me to believe your one of lifes good people .

there must be an alternative, there is always an alternative, you might just need to work together to find it

people might assume your other half is unreasonable? maybe he has what he feels are valid reasons

I haven't been on for a while---so sorry to hear about your tank. I hope you can work this out. I agree with the others, maybe you wouldn't be able to sell it--then you have to keep it!
