    I'll measure when I get home. Mine is an in-wall build, so I set my stand higher for better viewing.

    well my stand is 30" for my 135.. wish it was a little higher maybe up to 36"

    If you are putting sump underneath remember your skimmer will be 20+ inches tall and you need room for all the extra crap.

    My DIY for my 180- 36.5 inches- the top of the stand.

    Puts the top of my 180 at eye level, no bending down to look in.

    The top of the DT will be at least 1ft higher than my current 125 dt.

    I'm still plumbing to my basement as I am now.

    Where- my current 125g will make it down there to be the
    sump for my 180.
    I had to move a small no weight bearing wall in my basement to fit the longer 125 sump.

    I'll have alot of unused space under my stand, I think I'll stick my kids in there when they act up ;-}

    Mine sits at 36". Top of the tank is a little higher than eye level. Perfect for a picture window framed reef tank.

    Well for those with 36" are you happy with that height or would you want it taller?
