    A 40g breeder style tank/coffee table.. Plumbed through the bottom.

    Just wondering if this is possible, and what would I have to worry about?

    There are already a couple of coffee style tanks out on the market. I'm pretty sure they are mostly designed for FW tanks though. I think the biggest concern would be how to keep equipment hidden & have it neat looking. The other concern would be you would spend your time looking down into it, and with SW tanks surface agitation for gas exchange is concern. So would you spend you time looking down at wavy water?

    I think that'd be pretty sweet if you have the capability to put the equipment in the basement. You'd also have to make sure you got the placement right. If you ever decided to rearrange furniture that would definitely be a gigantic PITA. Not only that, but you'd have a hole in the floor with a bunch of PVC sticking out. :lol:
