I also dont see the need to "tear down the tank". I had the same problem on my current 90g and all I did was to drop the water level down a little and just reseal it. Tearing down the tank would be a last resort effort when all else fails. I totally agree doing the job right from the get-go but remember this is probably a "live/working" tank. Luna

    leaks

Yeah, try to reseal, if that don't work then try and cut your over flow lower and just have the water lower till you move

PS. Think about upgrading to a 240Gal tank ever?

Hope reseal works out for ya,
    Mike

    Well,

I am going to upgrade when I move (Wife does not know it yet). I just really dont feel like doing it now. It really is not that big of a leak just annoying that I have to soak up water once a week with a paper towel.

I am going to try and seal. if it does not work I will just break it so I can buy a new one :p

Well I simply put the power head at a different angle. Water moving is what was causing the water to leak out of the top rim. since lastnight no water has came out at all.
