Hey guys and gals so I built my stand yesterday and it is dead level. However when I set my new tank in place I noticed a gap under the one corner. After some further checking, I was able to determine that it is being caused by a slight crown in one of the 2x6. the gap is about 1/16 of an inch.

So first should I be concerned? And second- can I shim under the tank to correct it or should I pullnthe tank off and plane it down? Help!! Need to get my fish back in ASAP. Thanks!!

Is that before you put water in? I would sand it until the tank is flush.

I imagine any "issues" with a stand will only be exacerbated by the added weight of water/sand/rock. Any potential "tank crasher" should be addressed or you could be making a new "My New Substrate is my Carpet" thread. Not worth it to me :p Good luck.
