Yeah looks pretty horrible right now...corals all died or look bad/dying. I have Cyano problem(all over the sand and some on the rocks.), Green hair algae, and bubble algae. I ordered a new light so that should help with the corals but what do I do about the rest. Ive been thinking about getting a lawnmower blenny once I get some cash but would it be fine once it eats the hair algae and get along with my other fish? Also just bought a bunch of ceriths a couple weeks ago and they seem to be eating cyano off the rocks but haven't touched the sand??? Heard you could also pop the bubble algae but some people say it works and some say it makes it worse so???

I guess I also need to do a water change- haven't done one in awhile but seems like even when I was doing them every week it didn't make a difference on the algae.

    Please help

I heard that blue legged hermits are pretty good with the bubble algea control. Not really sure 1st hand of it, but just from reading.

How are all your levels in your tank?

My Hermits dont bother my Ceriths.... as I have Dwarf Ceriths and they are in the sand during the day. And the hermits are far larger.... so they dont seem to bother them for your shells.

I had a nitrate issue just recently Using instant oceans natural nitrate remover to keep somethings in check while I figure out whats the issue. It works amazing, and it is Fish/Coral/Invert safe.

Emerald crabs are the ones that will truly demolish bubble algae. I had it bad in my old 75 and two of them demolished it in a few months... as for the rest, before we can offer any help, we need to know your params.

Well the old bulb is probably part of the problem for sure, but algae need nutrients to grow, so I would check the water source for phosphates and TDS value and try to return to routine water changes.

What type of flow do you have ?
