any pics yet of your tank?

I had a bubble algae issue a while ago in my 75. I got 2 emeralds (2 months ago) that demolished the algae in less than a week. They are both alive still and don't mess with my coral at all. They constantly pick at the rocks getting food for themselves. They come out only at night for me.

Oh and also, what is the size of your tank. And how much of a WC have you been doing?

the two I had disspareared never to be seen again. I have not a clue what happened to them. I hvae a GIGANTIC one in my tank now. his back is a good 3/4" across and he picks at the rocks and I dont have any bubble algae. I can actually see him righ tnow in full lights giong after the greens on the rock. fun to watch those critters pick at the rock.

try some chemi-clean then do a 25%+ water change.. new carbon and phos remover as well. chemi-clean helped with my bubble algae growth a little too.

What is your livestock right now? Could it be overstocked and the bio filtration isn't keeping up? Totally a guess since I have no idea what your livestock is.
