Well just wanted to maybe figure out what I did. Ive had a bad algae problem on top of the dreaded red turf. This past weekend I purchased a RBTA and when I put him in he floated to the back and attached to a rock upside down out of the light and flow. Well I figured he would die and nuke my tank so I did some aquascaping and rearranged some corals and directed my powerheads a lil diff. Now believe it or not my tank is showing the algae slimming down and the turf seemed to have stopped spreading so fast. I also put new phosphate reducer in my reactor. Now all my corals seemed to have perked up alot and I also found a piece of birdnest that broke off so i retrieved it from the rock, lol whole thing was white/bleached so i decided to put it in part of my live rock and believe it or not the top tips are showing life. Kinda wierd since ive never had this kinda luck with my tank, its always 1 thing after another.

You can thank the phosphate reducer for slimming down the algae.
