tank monitoring technology

I have purchase the RKL and it is able to use the net module. It's a seperate module not included in the $99 package. I think it is approx. $100.00 extra. Try going to digital aquatics web site then on the bottom there is a forum with all kinds of questions and answers. Helped me out alot.

 

Exactly!!! Lol....I imagine pretty soon you'll pretty much be able to control your whole system with your iphone.
Its like everything else, as soon as everyone starts buying, the price hopefully will drop?

 

ha! this is true!!! but i did do this an interesting way... i downloaded an app on my iphone that make a direct connection between my iphone and my computer. I can control every program on my computer with my iphone now so i access the webcam and can visually see everything about my tank... pretty close to an aquacontroller but a WHOLE lot cheaper
I have to admit the idea stemmed from ccscscpc and he helped me with the porting stuff

I have a similar RDP app on my Android Phone...it is the best app I ever purchased!

 

There's an iPhone app to interface with the APEX controller.

You can also access from any standard web browser.

and I don't think the price really dropped on other controllers - new ones come along, and old ones are often liquidated, but that's it.

yeah i think the aquanotes app sold me on apex over RKE. although, found out need some tires for the car. do the 90G upgrade is going to have to go on without a controller.....for now

 

I stay over sit on you couch, brink beer, monitor tank, eat food, frag me a couple takehome corals,feed fish,10% WCs,drink beer, and call your cell phone when water temps go over 2 degrees.. for FREE.
