Tank moving how-to

I am going to be moving in the next few weeks and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a tank moving step by step thread. I know all situations are different as are the tanks involved, but a lot of people at one time or another may need to move their tank. Would it be worth documenting the moving of my tank to post for the others to get an idea of what is involved and how to go about doing it? I have never had to move a reef tank, but I have moved freshwater tanks, I moved 8 times in 3 years, kept the tank up and running through every move. Hopefully I wont have too much trouble.

 

What do you mean "up and running" through every move? You broke it down right? I am picturing you putting the whole tank inside a car and plugging it into the cigarette adapter...lol..

Yea, I think pictures and time frames would be quite useful to some people, especially newbies.
