    So I'm sitting bored as hell (wifes gone for the weekend) and thinking to my self why don't we 3reefers have a tank of the month, or fish,coral,invert or what have you. beacause everyone likes to see pics of other reefheads tanks or at least I do.

    I know the question has been posed before... If I remember correctly I even asked Matt? and I believe it was due to the fact that typically only larger SPS dominated tanks win and it would leave out beautiful nano's or softie tanks... Or I could just be dreaming....

    I don't know of the conversation you had with Matt. However, this is exactly the reason we don't have a Tank of the Month on another forum I mod. It also favors wealthier individuals.

    I think that was a bad dream. :)

    We have done fish of the month and coral of the month on a volunteer basis when possible. If someone has a tank worthy of 'tank of the month' and would like to do an in-depth write up with pics send a PM my way!
