    Just curious to paint the back of my tank what kind of paint do I need?

    Any kind of paint that says it will adhere to glass.

    Heres how i did mine >

    Chose a "flat color" of like a laveder ( not purple/not blue ) covered it all back and sides then i "covered that" with flat white to seal in the color' ,
    Front veiw gives off' a VERY nice shade' of light soft' lavender/purpleish hue's ( say it with crylon! lol )
    i dont think i could have gottona better color.

    Nice plumbing job. So you went lavender, then black, then white? Any front shots/filled shots?

    I used 2 coats royal blue rustoleum... and have had many compliments about it! There are some pics in my tank thread on my signature, check it out!!

    No black' paint thats the trim around the tank is all' i taped it off' to keep
    it neat is all .
    put your blue/lavender (flat color) then seal that color with white , is all
    wear' a resparator or somthing.. i was in a closed space in the basment'.
    I almost O'd the cat and the wife' and i was like WOW man look at the colors dude..!...lol

    I just use oil based rustolium black or royal blue and a cheap roller ..

    Wild reefer Those vertical riser pipes up the rear of the tank off of the manifold are they feed lines to the tank ? Its none of my business But I can't see any balancing valves on the riser lines . You will have to add them to control the water flows.
