tank question

    im gettin a new 55 gallon and i was goin make a sump for it,could anybody show me pics of tanks where i will know where to put holes to run to the sump​

    First, make sure that glass isn't tempered or it will shatter.

    If it is not, the holes usually go in the back corners.

    PS -- I'd bet it is tempered....

    Yea, even if it isn't tempered cutting the holes is seriously business, it can still shatter pretty easily if not done right, believe me i know =(. if you do decide to do it practice if possible on something else, or get someone who has done it before, and i would give extra support to the bottom afterwards just in case. The rear corners are the safest bet.
