Tank repair Question?

    I found this in the trash.... Yay me! So I loaded it up brought it home cleaned it up. Found a chip along one of the edges nothing major. However it looks like it was siliconed badly. There are a few spots that look questionable. I was thinking of taking the glass apart and redo the silicone let it dry then check for leaks. Has anyone attempted this before. It's 48L x 24W x 30H I think I got to remeasure. Big tank though. Chip is on the right side its barely visible on the image.

    Definitely fill it with water and let it sit for a day or so to assess whether or not the damage affects its integrity!
