I was thinking about my 125 reef ready tank and the other issue that you have to think about is the megaflows! They will decrease some of the space in your tank!!!
I am trying to get some of my zoos and xenia to grow and encompass the megaflows on my tank to get some added space for coral etc.!

i think a big factor in buyin a reef tank is the width of it .. i bought 1 of those dime a dozen tanks and found afterwards that theres not enough room in the tank to setup my live rock so the tank actually looks like a genuine reef.. instead i got a straight line if live rock so be sure to get a tank with atleast 18 inch width or u will regrete, it i know i did, 5 months in and im lookin at moving up to a bigger tank for a few reasons.

I with you on the megaflows Reefer! I have a Megaflow in my 75g reef and have been thinking about removing it and using a HOT overflow because of the space issue. I use a HOT overflow on my 120g and love it. I've been wanting to upgrade to a 220g or 265g and am thinking about using only one Megaflow instead of the 2 that normally come with them. Any one in Minnesota want to buy a 120g long with Orbit 260w lights and 30g fuge/sump?

You will like the 265g if you go that route. I run one DIY 10" x 7" OF at one end of a Penninsula style tank and it handles 3 4-series little giant pumps. I would much rather run an internal OF instead of a HOT, too many chances of loosing syphon and flooding the floor with a HOT. :-/
