    From what I understand:

    "90 Gallon, 48 1/2 x 18 1/2 x 25 3/8"

"The area that the aquarium will be sitting on measures 48 ¾” long x 18 ¾” wide."

My calculations.... 90 gal. water at 8.6 pounds/gal. = 774 then you add the rock/sand and the weight of the tank itself and you're probably looking at about 1,000 pounds roughly. That is a lot of weight to have on a stand so just be sure it is sturdy. I guess the main question is; what would you do if the stand buckled and your tank fell to the ground?

What about sump space? It doesn't look like you would be able to get more than a 20H in there. The center brace and no open top really limits you. I think you could find better. Remember, you can always reinforce the stand if you don't think it will work.

I would ask the seller, they listed their tel# in the ad. If your tank would fit and the stand meet your space needs as someone else already mentioned you could always reinforce it for a few extra $$ for piece of mind. I'm not sure how much these things go for, I've always built my own.

I built a 40 gallon tall sump/fuge. According to the dims. it will fit. I may have to put in in during the build of the stand though...no big deal. They stand by their product and claim it will hold well over 1200lbs. I was able to get a few referrals as well. So far so good. I think I'm going to pull the trigger on this. Thanks guys.

I bought a 75g tank with stand and canopy off of Craig's list a few months ago. When I went to pick it up, the tank had water in it, so I know it holds water as well as the stand can hold the full tank. Tank also had gravel and rock in it. My point? That's the EXACT same stand that my tank sits on. It will hold.
