I have my ReefKeeper to turn on my heater at 77.9 and i wans talking to my LFS and they sad that they have there tanks set lower like 76 to 77. should I lower my temp to 77. I dont have a chiller for the summer but I do keep a fan on it to cool the tank down.

id keep it where it is... your coral/fish are used to 77.9. I find my fish are a little more active with a higher temp.
If you keep it you will also have less of a temperature swing in the hot summer months also.

I love my reef keeper lol

Temp can be argued forever. Everyone has there views on it. I think temp swings are more important than the actual number.

Temp swings are the big issue here, though it should be noted the lower temps are a trick used by LFS so they do not have to feed as often/less for filters to do. Fish are less active in lower temps which means a lower metabolism. Plus thy are easier to catch.
