Tank Temperature

    The temperature on my tank has been at 83-84 for the past few weeks. I put this down to the weather as its been hot here (Socal) for the past few weeks. However we have had the AC on today and its not affected the tank temperature at all.

    I have 2 rio power heads 1 as my return and the other for the skimmer. When I put my hand next to them when they are working they appear slightly warm which I think is why my tank temp is high.

    Anyone else had this problem with Rio pumps?

    I have no experience with rio pumps, but have heard that some have had problems with different pumps being a heat issue.
