Awesome looking tank. The Sun Coral are way cool looking! Whats the deal with them? I've seen some orange with yellow or just orange.

I have just recently started learning about these when I decided to keep one. They are a LPS coral with little if any light requirments. The do not host any algae and thus recieve all thier nutrition through regular feedings. I believe there is some debate as to whether each polyp has to be fed or if there is an internal structure for sharing nutrients. So far I have seen all shades of yellow/orange. There is also a black variety that seems to be faily common. I have read these are only difficult to keep due to their feeding requirements, and they like low light and low flow. Mine seems to be doing great, however 1 week is hardly a success story. Will keep my fingers crossed.

So far so good, Iraf. He was the last of three added and probably the last fish, since I am thinking I would like to remain skimmerless at this point. He is timid most of the time allowing the others to eat and then picks up what is left over. I did see the clown attempt to pick at him on day 2 but that was very short lived and all have got along well since. I think most of the time if you stick to only one fish of a species you are faily safe. Guess I will see what happens!

Thought I would try a video of the tank to show off the kole tang and the rest of the tank. Still a long way to go. I had trouble zooming cause I have not tripod but you get the idea. They all seem to not mind other at all. ;D
