    They must be pretty bad :-/ I will find out the brand my LFS is going to sell, he's willing to custom drill / fit bulkheads / overflows etc. so I'll be getting my quote from him tomorrow. Thanks for your advice, I will steer clear of glasscages.com

    Definitely doing base rock. Any recommendations on good sites to purchase said base rock from?

    Also, anyone here have experience with the AquaC EV-180?

    It seems that the cheapest rock you can get is if you find someone tearing down a tank that is selling all there rock. You can usually get it cheap that way then nuke it yourself. You may want to keep your eyes peeled locally. If you can't find anything then check this out or this. Those are just some quick examples from a local company I trust, Ebay may be good too I don't know.

    Good point on the Deep Sea Aquatics 185 tank for a 5 footer, but 30" front to back is more than I'm looking for. 25" high isn't bad either, but I wouldn't go any higher than 24-25".
