Tank Vs Sump for water testing

    Wanting Input... Anyone think there is a difference of readings if the water is taken from the sump Vs the tank. I wouldn’t think so but I still wonder because of all the crap in the sump bottom.

    Mine are still real new, but I tested both and the readings were the same.
    One of the benefits of the sump is being able to work in it like testing and dosing without disrupting the main tank.

    I have trouble with testing salinity in the sump as it isnt deep enough for my testers. Other than that, everything looks the same.

    not really provided there is a regular amount of flow between the two. maybe if you just did a water change.

    Kool since my tank is 30in deep I need to get on a ladder in get in it. My sump is 55 so it is deep enough thanks for the input
