Tanks Cloudy going on 2 days

My tank has been cloudy the last 2 days not sure why, its not horrible, but usually my tank is crystal clear.

I have the skimmer set to a more wet skim and its pulling out quite a bit, but not fixing it.

I run GFO and Carbon

Water params are all normal, and I have not dosed anything recently since Calcium has been stable with just every other week water changes.

Could it be a bacterial bloom? I had an idiot friend a few years back that read about vodka dosing throw 2 shots in and visibility was about 0, but the visibility now is pretty good, its more like a hazy look

 

When is the last time you did a filtration and or media clean up? Could be a bloom cause of a build up somewhere in the system, or it could be a build up thats worked its way loose.

 

mine was like that I changed the carbon and it went away

 

I just put new carbon 4 days ago :-( it seems to be clearing up though tonight

 

I was about to say 'A prescription problem', then I saw your age, so it can't be that....hehe

How is the Calcium level in the tank? Are you precipitating?
