I did not purchase mine from reefbreeders....I bought from a buddy of mine who is also a distributor. With that being said, I have heard really good things about their layouts.

Here's my "Photon 32". I don't know if it's the same layout that reefbreeders orders theirs with. I don't believe i t is but it's similar.

I have Taotronics 212w currently running on my system on one side and i have to say i was impressed enough to order another chinese brand from AJMLED which is the same as the Reefbreeders.

Why so much hate for the Chinese leds? They perform very well, at a very low cost compared to other high end LED models. My assumption is people that own these high end expensive (Radion,AI) products try to deface the lower end chinese models because they feel bad they wasted all that money.

Its like saying, My Lexus can drive from here to there but your honda can't. If you both can get to point A to point B without breaking down, then its up to you if you want the bells and whistles model, or the cost effective model.

Looks good Daniel. I just ordered 2 16" units w/ a custom layout for my home tank. Well see how it comes out. I have been talking wih Evergrow myself and might become a retailer for them if i like the product as much as I have heard of them. Thanks for all the good info on things.

    Happy reefing

I love evergrow. The product really is great quality. I have taken these apart to remove/replace the optics and I'll tell you, it looks great on the inside.

    Hate??At 3reef???Never.;D
It is natural with so many "bad" products that flood the market place for people to be leary of low priced items.Only Father time will decide whether or not these units are cost effective and actually accomplish what we all want.Happy healthy Corals. I am happy with my choice so far.

Hey vinny I'm assuming you have ecotech brand? The led lights across the board is new to the reef community.

    evergrow lights

    Hey Daniel,

Got my 2 16" lights in yesterday. I love em. Don't know the full potential as of yet, have them on 20% for the first couple days. They look awesome though and my temperature has completely stabilized now that the t5's are out. Well see how the corals do as time pass's. I love the blues on these units though as they make my anem's glow. Updates will come as i go.

Would like to get any opinions on a acclimation schedual from anyone who has experience with leds. I have mine at 20% now and plan to go up 5% per week. Is this sufficient or can I safely go with a higher hike per week.

Thanks for all the good posts on here to everyone.

I received my reefbreeders 16" photon and so far i love it. I was worried about the color because i read a post on here about one guy saying it was to blue and he was use to running the 250w phenix 14k the same thing i was running but after i put the photon up it is a little bluer but i love the way it looks as for coral growth i have not had them long enough to say but so far i am very happy with them.
