Taotronics, Reefbreeders, and the great LED debate

I've been running all sorts of variations of the Evergrow/Reefbreeders fixtures since a year ago, and I can say for certain that they are outstanding fixtures. I personally think that its the best price/performance/modifiable value on the market. I've swapped out leds for better led layouts several times as new advances have come along, and didn't need to buy entire new fixtures or spend hundreds of dollars each time.

My unit is very custom. I added ledgroupbuy cyan and 430nm purple leds to my 32" fixtures. I have had great growth and color in my SPS. My Acans have stayed red. Everyone loves how the tank looks.

I can also burn all of my LPS to a crisp unless they are in a shadow, near the sandbed, or the lights raised above 10" at 100% intensity. 2 chalices have bleached from this. Be careful.

With a few extra channels, smartphone control, and Cree Neutral Whites and Blues, it pretty much makes the perfect fixture. The Supernova has caught my interest, but I would also like to see Evergrow come up with something like it as well.

With a 48" Photon fixture coming soon, they've pretty much owned the led market with awesome choices.
