Tap or RO Water? Which do you use? Results?

If you've only ever use RO/DI water are you really in a place to call tap water inconsistent at best?

 

Absolutely. I am a certified water treatmement plant operator and supervisor and travel all over the country training operators, writing O&M manuals and starting up new plants for a major engineering firm. Its what I do for a living. My first tanks years ago started out with tap water which was 100% deep well water at the time then slowly they converted to treated surface water then changed residual disinfectants and so on. I have seen and used it all personally. I would never go back.

 

100% tap. I'm planning to invest in an RODI system tho. I had some GHA/macro when the pictures were taken. It's gone now. MB7+Vodka

 

I use straight tap water.. I will probably get an RO/DI down the road just in case.. especially if i move out of the city.

 

He knows his water.

Yea I saw that and cringed waiting for AZ to rebut lol...I used tap to initially fill my tank but since then have always purchased distilled water from WallyWorld...I too will eventually get a RO unit at least.
