I use it for at least 10 sites on a daily basis, including 3reef. Worth every penny and then some, IMO.

what makes it better? I was thinking about it but IDK. I have other forums I use their app for and a few I have tried but really like their website better.

I just like the fact that I can access all of the forums I browse on a daily basis from one central location. That, and I find it much easier to navigate than a website on a smartphone. As an added bonus, it's getting hard to find a site that doesn't support tapatalk.

I've tried other forum apps (forumrunner, et al.) - nothing really compares, IMO.

Plus, it's only like two bucks.

FWIW it does harms forums revenue, despite them taking Tapatalk on. Tapatalk wants an arm, leg, two kidneys and all your kids for a single banner location.

Lol, I wasn't aware that they offered banner space. Perhaps that's why I've never seen an ad.

I hadn't really thought of it that way. I guess it's kind of a double edged sword - sites can draw in more members thanks to accessibility (there are 3 sites specifically that I now browse since I discovered them via Tapatalk) at the expense of ad revenue. Regardless, I visit each of them via traditional means when I'm able (such as now) so they still get their ad views... But, I also travel alot, which is where the app really comes in handy.

If it wasn't for Tapatalk, I would not access forums from my phone.

Hmm I am going to have to think about it. Because I currently only browse a couple forums at the moment.

I only have 2 forums on Tapatalk. That doesn't limit how much I like the App.

Well, they offer it to the forum itself, but the price for even a single location is so costly, its not worth it. A decent amount of traffic is lost to Tapatalk.

I ditched it once I got a new browser on my phone. I still update the forums I ADMIN with the Tapatalk updates, I just don't use it myself any longer. Drives me up the wall every time I am told by a forum they are on Tapatalk and have to click to get passed the message... 1st world problem
