Is it possible to target feed too often?

I don't know about too often, but it's possible to feed too much. I feed most of my LPS just about every day, but I don't overfeed them. If they are not receptive to food that day, I skip them. They also seem to eat better in the morning rather than in the evening, when they are "exporting" waste. Hard to do both at once. :p

If how often you target feeds your coral exceeds the abilities of your filtration's ability to remove excess foods and water quality is sacrificed, then you are feeding too much (or are filtering too little). ;)

I have to agree with both posts above
on account I very rarely miss a day these days
I alternate between various product for various corals and as long as my water quality seems OK, I am happy with my current practice

there is possibly a danger of adding to many different things on any one day and wasting your money, feeding your filter
but as long as the qty is controlled and your not pouring multiple different additives in on any one day, its fine , IME

Well I've fed my purple death palys and my candy cane 2 nights in a row. I fed them some brine shrimp. Idk how or what would make good coral food...

if they can consume it, its a good coral food IMO

Mysis make a more nutritional alternative and even blood worms occasionally are taken by my brain corals and larger acans

My Wellso actually thought a crab molt was food recently and tried to ingest that

Well they seem to be ok. My cleaner shrimp kept trying to steal from the plays. I had to sit there with my baster and squirt water at it when it got close...
