Target feeding corals?

Is there a special or better food? I have frozen mysis but that seems big for polyps or mushrooms

Are there any good techniques to get them the food? I hate getting wet lol!

 

Turkey Baster

Frozen fish food mixture, or quality pellets and or flakes. Let food soak in a small amount of tank water.

Turn of pump for 15 minutes while feeding, do not forget to turn them back on.

No need to feed corals every day. Every three to fives days works for me.

 

you don't have to feed, but helps'em grow faster. and yeah i'd recommend turkey baster, pretty much what corailline said

 

Some like to use cyclopeeze. Very small in size which would work for what you are trying to feed..

 

Depends on the coral, but I've used mysis for bigger stuff.

 

I use mini mysis and H2O coral caviar and I use a Kent Marine Nautilus Sea Squirt to feed them it is quite long because I Have a deep tank

Mysis works well. I've also had luck with cyclopeeze, zooplex, and even pellets for the big guys.

 

From the aliens, of course.
