Hello everyone. I haven't done too much posting here but I figured I would go ahead a start a build thread.

My tank has been running since the beginning of August and I have had many many ups and downs. I finally have a stable tank and a good start on some coral growth thanks to some local reefers that I got some frags from!

I have had my share of problems, messes, and losses already in this hobby, but I am loving it more and more. I started off slowly and did not add much coral until lately and that is probably a good thing because about a couple of months ago I had a very good running in the ReefClearners.org "Dirtiest Tank Contest". Although I didn't win, I had a very good showing :p .

Since then, I have learned a great deal and my tank is really starting to improve.

    My current setup includes:
    - 46 Gallon bow front tank
    - 4x96w Power Compact Lighting
    - (2) 1050 gph powerheads
    - C-220 Marineland canister filter
    - Hang-on-back refuge with some macroalgae
    - Red Sea Prizm skimmer

I'm happy to say that reading these forums on a daily basis has brought me a long way as you can see.

Any suggestions, discussions, questions, reminders, or anything really is greatly appreciated!

That is amazing progress. It will only get better from here. Great turn around! :)
