Nope. The tank was predrilled. I did however have the overflow walls custom made. The ones that came with the tank were beyond repair/cleaning.

The move has begun. Family room is a freekin mess. Tubs of fish rock and coral all over the place. The rock without corals attached are in the tank. It got stirred up a little so I have to wait a little for it to clear to aquascape. Some of the clean up crew and 1 star will not get much aclimation time. The star was in a hole in the rock and was not coming out. I hope he does OK. Few snails and a couple hermits will get dunked as well. Everyone else is acclimating right now. Somehow I thought this would be more fun.

It only gets messier as the change progresses. Goodluck.

Almost complete. Thanks I will take all the luck I can get.;D

Man I need more rock. Lots more rock. Going to get some dry rock later to finish up. I figure dry rock should not cycle to bad on me. 110 pounds did not even put a dent in it. Going to get about 80 more pounds. Not sure yet if I like the rock yet. Not to worried though with more rock coming. Will probably put the dry rocks on the bottom and then cover with the rock I have. Here are some pics of the progress so far. I also found 2 little starfish. Not sure what they are or if they are going back in.

All the hard work is paying off nicely! Can't wait to see the finished tank. By the way, excelent job on the stand. It looks very "one-of-a-kindish".

You need larger pieces of rock to mix in with the small pieces. Large pieces give the fish more sleeping and hiding space. Getting there.

Absolutely. Never had a tank big enough to have big rocks but I got one now. Going to get some big chunks to put in. I was going to go pick up 80-100 pounds this afternnon but I have been informed I have a few other things to do for the St. Patty's party tomorrow. Something about cooking enough corned beef for a 100 or so people. Oh well there is always later.

Here is what i finished today. Everyone is in and doing wel. lThe 3 Green Chromis are loving it. They just swim from side to side. Same with the horseshoe crab (named Zipity by my 6 year old). Corals have opened up. Hermits not moving much yet though. Pepermint and cleaner shrimp pretty mobile as well. So far so good.

    Thanks for looking

Good news and bad news within 5 minutes of each other. Good news I found my missing peppermint shrimp. He was in the overflow box. I have looked in there many times never saw him. Been missing for quite some time. Found him when I broke down the 55 and was cleaning it outside. Had no choice but to plop him in the tank. So far he is doing fine.

Bad news was the Skunk Cleaner did not make it. I was very supprised. He was doing great and the next thing i knew he was laying on his back motionless. When I netted him no movement whatsoever. I hated that he was very cool to watch. going to have to get another.

Horseshoe crab is "swimming" all over the place including at the top of the tank. He turn upside down kicks his legs and just boogies.

I am very glad I got the lights I got with this tank. My corals are sooooooooooo much brighter in color. As are the fish.

So far all the others are doing fine. Been a busy day. I think it just might be straight up gin o'clock.
