Hey Tbelt I have basically the same tank as yours and I was afraid of losing fish jumpimg out of the tank or into the overflows so I cut eggcrate 12" by the length of the opening and this has worked great. The other reason I only cut the eggcrate half the width of the opening is because my canopy is only open in the back. If a fish jumps toward the front he'll just hit the door and go back in the tank. It also doesn't get in the way of feeding and maintainence. Here's a quick pic to illustrate.

With the exception of the cleaner shrimp it appears everyone made it through the move. All alive and swimming this morning.

Last night while admiring the tank and my hard work the wife came in and said "the room needs to be changed around. It doesn't look right" So we spent the evening until about 11:30 rearranging furniture. Also had to rewire the all the sound systems (we have 2 1 for surround sound and 1 for the pool speakers). Finally finished and I like it much better. The couch is closer to the tank so it is easier to see. Also all the electronics are now on the otherside of the room away from the tank. God forbid something goes wrong at least the electronics should make it.

    Thanks for looking,

    Tony

Spent the morning and part of the afternoon putting powerheads in place and then moving to get the flow right so there are no dead spots. Think i finally got it.

Time to get ready to start the St. Patty's party. Going to have as many nieghbors as possible in to see the fish tank so they do not think I have a grow house going on.;D

Now that things are looking good with the 180, any plans for the old tank?
