Rock is still cycling in the garage. Picked up a hint of ammonia during a test yesterday so going to change out some of the water in the tubs and let it keep going.

Starting to loose some of my red leg hermits. Not sure why. Everything else seems to be doing well but the red leg hermits are dieing off rapidly. Did an ammonia test and starting to seem some. Probably from the deaths. Doing a 25 gallon change today and will do another 25 gallon change Friday.

The fish seem to like having the rock all over the place. Just need the rock in the garage to stop putting out ammonia and I can start to reaquascape. I will be adding a total of 70 more pounds over the next few weeks. Going to do it in 2 stages.

I have a question. Does the rock need to have light while it is "cooking"? Also is the temp reall important for the rock? It usually stays pretty warm now and the water has been at 70 but last night temps dropped into the 50s and i did not have a heater in it. There is one in there now to warm it back up but i am sure the water temp dropped to about 62.

Added 35 pounds of the 70 "cooking" in the garage. Tank is an absolute mess. Not going to aquascape until all the rock is added. Just putting the pieces in the tank and letting flow do its thing.

35 pounds more of rock to go. Going to be fun aquascaping. Im waiting until all the rock is in until I start moving it around. Fish seem to love it. So far so good.

    thanks for looking

Well woke up this morning with no desire to work in the yard soooooooooo worked on the tank. Did some aquascaping today. Started about 7:30 and just finished. 6 hours of moving rock but I think I found a scape I like. Fish seem to like it. Lots of caves, tunnels, ledges and cool places to hang out. They can swim the length of the tank in the rock. The build is almost 3 months long so far and things are really coming together.Everyone seems happy and healthy(except for some red legs) Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the kind comments. As far as the Fraags...I think 1 is a red acon one is a green acon one is a Zoa. The brown one I have no idea. One thing I can say it is a tuff little coral, and the last I am not sure. some type of Xenia I think. My wife bought them for me and I have not done any research. My knowledge of corals is minimum. My wife found a wharehouse in Oldsmar with nothing but huge tanks of Frags. tons for 10-15 bucks. in about 2 months I plan on going there to pick out some more but for now going to let the tank settle. It has gone through alot of changes in the past couple of weeks and I do not want to push it too much further. Here is a better pic to help with ID.

    Thanks for looking
