Absolutely. I worked up quite a sweat today removing all the screws that rounded off from rust/corosion.

Wow, great find T. Thanks for the pics, your a good man;D. Just like you said, take your time and get it done right the first time. Dont rush with this build, like most of us do. And remember, measure twice and cut only once.;D

A couple of local reefers here painted the inside of their canopy white to help with light reflection. I don't know if they used a special paint, but I will ask for you.

Great find!! Looking forward to seeing this build.

Very very nice Tony! Im looking forward to seeing how this progresses. That is a big tank, perfect for a reef for someone who has the money. Hahaha, good luck.

Yes I will absolutely go slow. I am in no hurry. I have 2 other tanks up and running so I am not fighting the clock. There is now way to get it up before March looking at my schedule. Next month i am traveling with work 2 weeks and am heading to Vegas for relaxation the last week of February. May take a week off in March towards the end to finish up and then fill it with water. I really want this set up to not only function properly but look good too.

Talked to my friend here locally and he said that he used white KILZ primer on the inside of the canopy. He said he doesn't have any scientific proof but he feels that it helps to reflect the light down into the tank more than a dark canopy. Also, the KILZ he used was the spray stuff.

    HTH.
