Well the hand is doing much better. No more splint just a removable brace. Hand is still swollen but getting some movement back.

Here are some pics of the tank. Water is very cloudy and I do not know why. Going to try some charcoal and see what it does.

some before and after pics of the corals

I will try to get some more up this weekend. Been out of the country for a few weeks. Got tired of sitting around the house so I went to the carribean with the family. turks and caicos to be exact. Thought i would get some ideas by looking at a real reef. Right before I left i was giving the tank the look over when I noticed my sump was leaking at a seam. Bought a new sump to use while on vacation (much smaller then the old one. got the biggest I could find) and have to repair the old one this weekend. If it wasn't for bad luck i would have no luck at all. I am getting to the point where I have a spare everything.

ya no kidding but all healed up now and getting back to more then just maintaining the tank. Currently configuring things to use both the new sump and the old one together. Still in the planning stages but I have the room so i am going to give it a shot. That would put my total water volume somewhere near 240 gallons +/- a little. It will also decrease or eliminate any chance of spill over in the sump/refugium if the power goes out. Right now it will not spill over but it does get close. Water test on the repair this weekend and if all goes right I will pull the shoehorn out and start stuffing them in there. I'm on the road with work until friday then work work work on the tank.
