Man I really feel for you. I commend you in starting over and taking the appropriate actions for the problem. The new aquascape looks good. Cant wait until you get it restocked again.

Thanks RB. I was just about of the reef business. Almost sold it. If the guy would have had the whole 750 it would be gone. But now I have been reborn. As soon as the chemistry gets right I will start adding. I am now over 450 gallons worth of water changes doing about 70 gallons at a time. Anotherc70 coming this weekend. That will put me over 500 gallons.;D

How have you been RB? Your tank build is doing well. Like me the ups and downs of reefing.

Well I did another 75 gallon water change and got the phosphates to about 1.5 or so. Better but not perfect. To reward myself I decided to buy some new memebers to the CUC. 3 peppermint shrimp and a cleaner shrimp as well as 20 hermits and 20 snails also 3 emerald crabs. Thay should help keep it clean. Also got some new fich. @ gobys, 2 cardinals and a wrasse. My Green chromis went after the firefish and cardinals right away. And they were killed. Green chromis captured and removed. Gave them away. Removed the dotyback a while ago for the same reason. The wrasse was the only survivor of the fish. goung forward I will have to get bigger fish. Anyway here are some pics

Sorry about the wrasse being blurry. He would not pose once in the tank. Like I said earlier going forward I will need to get fish that are a little bigger. The small ones dont do well in this tank. Maybe now that the bullies are gone but do not think I will try that again with smaller fish to expensive. Next up will be a yellow tank and maybe a powder brown.

Very neat build went through all the pages. Nice ideas and craftsmanship on the tank. Hopefully things turn out well going forward.

It is official the fire fish has been located and saved. Had to "flush" him through the overflow but he is alive and enjoying his new home. Going to get him a freind this weekend. Poor little guy has been picked on and yet made it. Tough little fish. Going to miss the Chromis they were some of my first fish and went from a 34 to a 55 then the 180. Unfortunately they got cranky as they got older. Everyone getting along tonight. Time for a single malt and a cigar. Then just sit back and enjoy my tank. I love saltwater!!!!

yay for rescuing the firefish and that he's still with you! I think after all of your hard work (massive water changing!) you deserve a malt and cigar :)
