I have read a lot of good reviews for this skimmer. Just wanted some 3 reef reviews. This skimmer will be for a 40 breeder with a light bio load. Seems really good for the price tag.

I'm not certain on what has been improved.

I have had the Coralife 125 Super Skimmer on my 29 right now(will be on a 75) and it took about 4 weeks to break-in, fully because I don't have much of anything in the tank.

It is preforming well though. I think a 65 should be good for a 40 B.

    I run a 65 on my 46g, an 125 on my 90g, and a 220 on my 120g...

No complaints really, I do like how they can switch to a Sump Skimmer lol. Made it easier when I added my sump to the 120 to not have to buy a new skimmer.

Yeah, Red, the skimmer will be placed in a sump. On your 120, what water level do you run the skimmer at?

Sorry, I meant the water level in the sump.

I have one I use as a backup, and I never had a problem. Pulling goop within a day if you have it dialed in right. I used it as a hang on back.
