tell me what you think of my new lighting combo

    OK guys, ive currently got 2 150 watt 10k halides, 2 420nm t5's and 2 460 nm t5's.

    My new setup will be 2 Pheonix halides (14k) , 2 12k Actinic white UVL t5's, 1 True Actinic 420nm UVL t5 and 1 75/25 True Blue 14k UVL T5. Im anxious to see what it looks like! Should be here beginning of next week...

    I'm curious to see the Actinic Whites.

    What is your impression on the 420nm vs 460nm. Why did you choose to only replace the 420?

    I'm got to get some new bulbs soon and will be watching this thread.

    No problem guys, ill take before and after pictures!! I only chose to replace the 420nm bulb because with the 420 and 460 only it was too blue for my likings. I will gain needed PAR value and still keep the fluorescence of the corals. Or that is the plan anyhow.

    The UVL 12k's IMHO look like pepto bismo, by themselves, but look a lot better than I would have imagined in your combo.

    I read your posts, and I did not see the current bulb choices that you have in the fixture. Perhaps I missed it?
