    Hah. Search over at marine depot. I've seen some locals do the same, they look nice if done cleanly and properly.

    Score ;) I've seen these fixtures before and honestly if I were doing T5, it's the only unit I would buy. No lunars sucks but the quality of the fixture makes up for it IMO. And dang, are they bright.

    And $13 dollars! Yay! Okay, I think I can handle this.

    To be honest, I do like the 6 lamp fixture better because it's more streamline...but I don't want to have to replace it down the road.

    I have the aquatic life and i love it goes off automatically but the only prob is that everyday that i try to sleep exactly at 8:00am the fan make some loud obnoxius noise like a train just ran through the romm but i personnaly love it though

    I have the T-5 and i also like it cause they stay cooler.

    thanks for the info! Luckily my tank isn't near my bedroom, so I don't have to worry about it being too loud. If the tank had to be in my room, it would be a no go, because if I don't get sleep....I'm scary!! :angry:

    I agree that an 8 lamp would be best. 6 at minimum for T5s.

    If you go the MH route, then a pair of 175s would be perfect and 250s for SPS on the deck.
