I'm about to do some work on my 20L. Pretty much taking all the rock and sand out. I'm going to be replacing the sand, and treating the rocks over the next few days with flatworm exit to get rid of a nasty fw pest problem.

The thing is I don't have a setup for my black and white clowns. Can I put them in my 40B for a week or so even if I have a pair of ocellaris in the 40B already.

Comments, ideas, and suggestions are welcome.

    TIA

The most popular theory is that you should only have 1 mated pair of clowns in a single tank; however, lately I've seen several with multiple pairs of different species in the same setup. Not the most decisive answer I guess, but it will probably be up to the fish to determine if they want to fight, get along, or just keep their distance. Perhaps someone with more experience will chime in, so here's a bump for you. :)

If worse comes to worse you could put a divider in there to keep them separated. But with that small of space there might be a clown war going on.
