Do you have a/c? You could set your heater at norm winter setting and cool your house off for a little while.

    Hi Kiarah

Brit abroard here, I have many memories of Indian summers in UK

Backing the heater down is a good idea, I recall unplugging mine during a similar hot spell on the 90s

raising you lights if they are sat right on top of your tank can help, circulation
I lifted my canopy that did not have legs using 2 bits of 2 x 4 wood

directing a free standing fan accross the top of your tank can also help - just have to top of more regular

bottles of water put in the freezer and then floated in your tank can help if the temp hist 30 again

putting RODI water in the fridge to cool is is another method I used , top off water added slowly that gradualy brings temp down

a combination of raised canopy, plus air circulation should be enough to keep your tanl below 30

If your tank is large enough to justify it you may want to consider shopping for a chiller (used, to keep costs down). My guess is you're going to be in the hobby a while, and weather isn't going to change much, so it's a reasonable long term investment for some.
