Tempered Glass???

Is there a way to find out if my aquarium glass is tempered?

 

If there is not a sticker then breaking it would be the only other way that I know of... I dont believe there is a way being that glass shops always ask if its tempered. i figure that if there was a way to tell then they would know.

 

if its empty set it outside and look at it through polarized glasses. it will look like little circles in the glass. If its too heavy to move, put a laptop in it and do the same.

 

Call the manufacturer and ask. Normally only the bottom is tempered.

 

there was a thread on how to tell.. I think it involved using a camera with flash on or something.
