Temperture what is it really

    I wouldn't trust it on it's own for sure. Thermometers are cheap.. the link I posted above are only $1.99 each.
    Also simply sticking my hand in the water I can tell if it's kinda in the normal range.

    Just confirming not to trust any single thermometer, none are perfect and 100% reliable. Always have at least 2.

    the temp in the DT and sump shouldn't vary more than a small fraction of a degree... if they do you have some seriously slow flow. I think you'd see more variation from top to bottom of DT.

    y have seen some weipro digital thermometers and they work really good.

    y really don´t know if you guys have seen this webpage but:

    (the page has a worldwide delivery system and is really cheap. (at least here in Chile takes 8 days to the product you chosen to arrive in your home via UPS).

    The temp is sump, fuge, and DT can vary greatly, regardless of flow. I always run my probe in the DT, middle of the water column.

    Another technics that y see here on other reefs is that they put a heater on the sump and other on the aquarium up so they can mantain the same tº in a ciclic way
