In another thread I've mentioned some issues I'm having in my DT. I'm at a loss for what's going on and I want to remove my corals before they start to look even worse.

I'm going to use my 5 gallon bucket for water changes as a temporary holding tank. I have a heater and a small power head to put in there.

My questions are do I need to add a piece of my LR from my DT into this tank to transfer over some beneficial bacteria? I'm making a new batch of saltwater because I don't want to bring whatever is in my tank right now.

I don't think I will be bringing my softies over, at least for now. They aren't looking horrible like my LPS corals, just not as open as they usually are. Now for the LPS, should I be worried about them stinging each other?

What are you going to do about lighting? A 5g bucket doesn't leave you much room to spread things out, so there is no stinging going on.
