I will post pictures tomorrow morning of the tank with the old lights and the new corals. I gotta pick up the clap lights tomorrow to hang off the shelf above my tank. And the corals aren't too exciting right now, they aren't out all the way.

I think I am going to turn one of my baby cichlid tanks, 10 gallon, into a planted tank with some mollies or swordtails. What do you think?

Ok, it's not really new, but it popped out of nowhere. It's a super, I mean super bright neon green.
A few updates on the older corals

Awesome. What brand of PAR bulbs did you get?

They are BoostLED bulbs, very bright lights and make your corals pop.

Yeah, great to see you taking your time with this. Tank should be nice and stable, hopefully the new lights will really allow you to take it to the next level. It will be interesting to see the growth of those new adds under them.

I was a little worried about the new rocks as I liked the intermediate scape, but the new rock scape is looking good :)

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Looks good, congratulations on the new acropora and LED. The scape style will come in handy as you get more corals because it offers different placement of corals for different lighting requirements.

You are going to love the Par's from BoostLED.

Only thing I would recommend after looking at your beautiful pics would be to remove the shrouds around the lamps if possible. Being enclosed like that will trap a lot of heat. The boost lamps were meant to be in open air. If you cannot remove the shrouds - a small fan pointed across the bottom of both fans might do the trick.

Either way congrats on the upgrade looks great!

Upon second inspection - those clamps look to be the same ones i got from wally-world they are perfect.

If they are the same then the shrouds can certainly, and should certainly be removed.
