I just discovered that Tenecor makes an acrylic 75 gal long. Dimensions are 60" x 18" x 16". Where I have to place my aquarium it's more the depth from the wall that's an issue, than the length or height. But I would like to have a tank that I feel I can keep a Tang and a Trigger - which I know like to have swimming room. My thought is the longer the tank the better, such as this one. Would it be feasible that a Sailfin Tang and Blue Jaw Trigger could be happy and healthy in a tank with these dimensions?

OH - and the overall weight - as this would be on a second floor, so sticking with 75 gals max with everything else I'll have in it!

    Thanks for your input!

Going with the longer tank will definitely make a tang much happier to be in there. What type of sailfin are you looking at getting. Some of the smaller ones would be great in a five foot tank.

The smallest one I can find, LOL. The Pacific Sailfins seem to be the most hardy and readily available. I had one years ago when I had a 125 gal. tank. He was never sick and got pretty large before I sold the tank when I moved out of state. He was at least 4 or 5 years old at that time I believe. So that's what I would want again. If I get one small enough maybe I'll move and have space for a big tank again by the time he gets too large.

Should be OK. I would say 60" is the minimum for the trigger if done RIGHT (I know some go smaller). But Sounds good for both fish to me. :)
