    This same thing happened to my six line when I removed a huge piece of coral. All my params were in line, I ran carbon and did water changes. My guess is I stirred something up in the sand.

    Sadly I lost my Six Line. :(

    I'll put my 2c in here.....for 9 months my voltage was at 26v.....I wasn't savy enough to know better until having the conversation with my LFS, and to say what most people wouldn't dream of, everything was getting along fairly well. I lost merely my pulsing zenia, and a coral beauty, but I blame that on a turbulent sand storm throwing perams.....there's been 2 clowns, a fire fish, 2 PJ's, and a hippo tang all doing fine. There may have been a bit of stress, but sincerely not the type you are experiencing. If you are having breathing issues, there is either lack of air, or something blocking the gills of it......Once again, my 2c, but I don't think voltage is your issue here after taking some time to think on it.......
