Gahh. I have a large sheepshead that is terrorizing my large gulf tank. It's a 200+ gulf tank that is decorated with large lobster traps that unfortunately crack and break when I try to move them in the tank. I've made several attempts to catch the little troublemaker but he alludes the net.
Any advice on how to get him out of there? At this point I'm thinking I have to bait a hook and go fishing.

    Thanks so much!! :D

You might just have to do that, get the smallest hook possible, smash the barb and find his favorite food. Or wait for the lights to be off for a while, find where he sleeps and catch him, the fish is usually pretty dazed.

If he feeds near the surface, be quick with a net, and don't let him see it first.
Worked on my large blue tang once.

Fishing in your tank, that could be cool!

PS, I used to catch Sheepshead around Galveston Bay, and the ship channell. Always threw em back.
    They have human looking teeth!!

PSS- I'd like to see a pick FTS of your tank!
