    Hello everyone I am not really new to SW but I have never tested for Magnesion and Iodion and dont know what test kits to get to test for them. I cant find anything. I won a bottle of both of them for my LFS. They are form Brightwell Aquatics.

    I'd get redsea pro for cal/alk/mag and not worry about iodine, prob doesn't need dosed, although biocube puts a small amount in here and there. but not sure I'd actually worry about dosing it unless you have alot of stuff that requires it.

    +1 on the Redsea pro kit. Dont know how accurate it is as its the only test kit i own but i do know that its easy to use.

    I assume you mean Magnesium, and Salifert test kits are very reliable.

    Spot on Cosmo!! I do dost Iodine once a month, mainly for my cleaner shrimp. If I dose Iodine at 9pm ill have two molted Cleaner Shrimp by 9am the next day.

    I would use Red Sea Pro Test Kits, easy to use and reliable. Also they look and feel to be very high quality.

    If I saw this earlier, I would have told you to get the Red Sea Master Test Kit. It does Mag, Calc, & Alk. I am guessing you are using the API Reef master kit for Calc & Alk. I have no experience with the Reef Master kit, but I know the Red Sea kit is very good. If you ever need to buy more, get the whole kit :)

    Ok got the test kit today and it i did it right my mag is at 200 it took one of the small syringe to turn blue
